申明：我把這個sample包裝上的編號和印壓在ChatGPT上查了一下，它說應該是2008年四月所生產。基於2008年和現在的香水製造規範有所不同，所以有可能這香味和現今版本不同。如好奇這款香水的味道，建議到專櫃或指定通路去試。
這個sample在抽屜裡好多年了。到手時試了一次，心裡有點不明白，只記錄了短短幾句話就放回抽屜裡，幾乎都快忘了它。那時是這樣寫的「很難形容，它有個類似橘子醬或杏果那種甜果香，並不是很甜但有厚度。」「有刺激尖銳的皮革在裡面。」「怎麼變粉粉的。後調其實還不錯。」有點沒頭沒尾的紀錄，但後來回去看這些紀錄，心想這香水也太前後不一了吧。
前一陣子因為在找皮革調香水，忽然想到才又把它拿出來，仔細穿了幾次，做了更詳細的紀錄，但還是想不透這款香水。以下是紀錄：
Cuir Mauresque的前調一開始有個像機油或殺蟲劑那種辛涼尖銳氣味。逐漸有個帶甜的脂花香冉出。有點厚度的果香，和辛香料和動物氣息融合著，微粉感的煙香籠罩整體。整個香味挺肅靜、暗黑且神秘感，挺特殊但不能說有多愛，我再繼續聞聞。
半個小時之後，香味變得甜暖溫柔。像機油的刺激氣味變柔和，它與辛香料和煙香融合成一個辛鹹蓬鬆的粉煙香。剛才可見的花香消失，被有彈性且性感的樹脂給取代。動物感的氣味變成一毯溫馴的絨毛。隱約有點類似桃果香的香味。整個香味比較東方煙感和脂粉感，很溫暖且慢調。
兩個小時之後，香味變得乾燥粉感，鹹甜的樹脂也更凸顯，動物的氣味變成比較像動物的皮脂氣味，近聞皮膚會有點毛騷味但不臭，遠聞則不太有動物感，整體還是個滿粉調的樹脂煙香，隱約有點花的氣息但不強烈，香味雖有厚度但擴散度不高。
在幾次試穿這款香水時，都已經把它放進購物車了，但就是無法下決心買它。我覺得我買了肯定也不太穿它，就還是別浪費錢吧，但我對這款香水評價還是滿高的。以下是我在Fragrantica裡留下的最終心得。
『This fragrance is hard to pinpoint. I’ve tried it quite some times, but I still can’t make up my mind about whether I like it or not. It has one of the weirdest openings I’ve ever smelled. The sweet, fruity note at the beginning reminds me of candied citrus or apricot, but it’s mixed with a salty spiciness that gives it a slightly animalic feel. In the background, I can also detect a faint, sharp industrial or chemical note. Somehow, the whole thing has a gummy, almost gel-like texture. Altogether, it creates a complex scent that I’m still not sure I can fully enjoy.
But after about an hour, smoke and powdery notes enter the picture, toning down the fruitiness and animalic quality. The fragrance becomes soft and mysterious. It feels like the smoothest, most elegant fur right in front of me. How did this happen? I guess I’ll never understand.』
